Full Membership

The cost of a full membership is $1,000 per year.Membership is for one year and requires renewal. The minimum age for full membership is 26 years. For women 25 and younger seeking membership, please see the junior membership section.

Junior Membership

One of the goals of the Lantern League since its formation 4 years ago has been to educate women about philanthropy and the role they can play by pooling their resources to fund projects that improve the quality of life for women and girls in their communities.

With that in mind, we are pleased to announce the formation of a Junior Membership level for young women 25 years and younger.

The opportunity for young women to learn about philanthropy and the benefits of giving back at a young age will reinforce the values of the Lantern League and giving circles across the nation.

Studies show that girls who begin charitable contributions at a young age will continue to do so throughout their lifetime.

The cost of a Junior Membership is $500 per year and allows the member all voting rights and privileges of full membership.

A membership to the Lantern League is a wonderful gift to consider giving your daughter, granddaughter, niece or sister. She will find herself a part of a group of women making a difference in their community and she will experience firsthand the satisfaction that comes from doing so.

In its first three years of funding the Lantern League has disbursed $332,000 to programs benefiting women and girls in the community.
